What Did I Do

I did not have my bikes posted for sale. It was out by word of mouth that I would sell one of them. I was thinking of selling one to have money to fix up the other. I received an email from someone I did not know, asking about my bikes for another person they knew. In the end the guy came to look at  the bikes cause I said I would sell either one. After taking both for a ride he asked me if I would sell both. Um.... ok, sure. Then I thought I would go to Grand Forks and pick up a new one from Walmart. The guys at the local bike shop tried to help me into a really nice Opus, but I just cant get that much money together. So off to Grand Forks I went and picked up my new Schwinn road bike and LOVE it. Picture to follow.

Summer Projects

I have a few things to work on this summer. Did some painting for the baby room, then went to Winnipeg to purchase a crib and stroller.

Now it off to work in the back yard.

Started to build the landing for our back door. We had the footing from the old deck taken out and the yard leveled out. Thank goodness for people with mini track backhoe's. There was no way I could have done it on my own. So I picked up some lumber today and started on it in the 33* weather, AWESOME and hot, wow. I had it framed up and joists hung and leg supports put in. Now I need to get more lumber for the decking and some stair stringers and done for now. The railing might have to come later. 

Another wood project is the front step railings that have been in my garage since last fall, that I never got to. We also picked up 7 interior doors with frames that need to be painted, also in the garage. In the garage where its freaking hot. I am waiting for a few days with some cooler weather to get that one done. 

I am sure there are a few other projects that will happen this summer, will have to wait and see what comes up.
